Hindrances To Receiving

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. – Romans 10:17

Two of the greatest hindrances to receiving from God is: (1.) Trying to help God too much and (2.) trying to figure out how He’s going to bless you! Our only job is to expose ourselves to faith by hearing the Word of God and then to release our faith, or continually affirm it, through our words and actions. It’s God’s job to bring to pass your blessing as He desires.

We’re simply to release our faith and follow His Spirit, walking obediently to His prompting when He leads us to give or to sow seed. Our moment will show up, but how or when it shows up isn’t our business, it’s God’s.
