Strong Dependence

And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live. – Deuteronomy 8:2-3

One of the first things that Moses dealt with when leading the children of Israel out of Egypt was warning them against a spirit of independence.

One can still be independent even if they have a good prayer life and fulfill all of their “Christian duties” if they’re dependent on their own strategies instead of God.

Many have not entered into wealth because they’re too independent. They believe that God wants to prosper them yet deep down they are still depending on their college degree or their good job.

In order to enter into a God-designed wealthy place, you must be willing to develop a strong dependence on God. A kind of dependence that will cause you to forfeit it all to follow God’s direction.

  2. Amen Apostle Thompson! I receive that in order to enter into a God-designed wealthy place, I must be willing to develop a strong dependence on God. I receive that it must be a kind of dependence that will cause me to forfeit it all to follow God’s direction. I receive it in Jesus’ name! Many blessings sir! Amen!
